Unfortunately Hurricane Hank was sidelined this weekend due to a shoulder injury. Hank should return to action behind the wheel of the Williams Plantworks/P&M Performance Open Wheel on 9/12/09 at Dublin Motor Speedway.
Although the Hurricane was sidelined with an injury, the team still prepped the car and “The Wild Child” Willie Milliken stepped in to shake the car down and see if the changes made this past week worked.
Unfortunately the car still has the same bugs in it, but the car performed well enough for Willie to capture the pole and then go on to lead every lap for the open wheel modified win.
The car handled and performed well overall and the team didn’t have to touch a bolt on the car all night.
A special Thanks goes out to “The Wild Child” and to Phillip Malpass for their help this weekend in getting the team’s thirteenth win of the season!
