The night didn’t go completely as planned. The team was hoping for a nice smooth night with no problems or issues, but that wasn’t to happen. During practice the team found a tire that was starting to separate. Then right before qualifying the starter died. The team was a bit concerned that our luck had finally run out.

So far…Not a Good Night.

Hank put all the problems behind him during qualifying and posted a time good enough for the pole!

Again before the race started, we had to have a push to get the car started. Hank lined up on the pole and as the green flag flew the C1 car beat Hank to the first corner. Hank saw an opening on the bottom of the track and drove the Williams Plantworks/P&M Performance Open Wheel back to the front. Hank came out of turn two three wheeling down the backstretch and never looked back and winning the race followed by the C1 and 00.

So overall a good night, but not without its problems.
