The Hurricane visited Dublin for the season opener. The track was in good shape since sitting since last November. The new management did a good job getting the track and facility ready. The new owner came by a couple of times and asked if there was anything we needed. The team is looking forward to visiting Dublin again.

Hurricane Hank had a good qualifying lap capturing the outside pole behind Willie Milliken. For the main event Hank and Willie lined up side by side for the start. Both drivers were anxious for the green flag and as the flag dropped Hank was able to get the advantage going into one. Hank, Willie and Timmy Blackwell had a tremendous battle going for the whole 20 lap event. Willie pushed Hank for most of the race with Timmy very close behind looking for either driver to make a mistake. When the checkered flag fell and the dust settled the Hurricane had captured his first win of the season at Dublin and the third overall for the year.

Dublin was good to the team and we enjoyed being back!
